Location: Remote - any UK location. Staff based in London may choose to work at our office.
Salary: £33,000 per annum pro rata

Rights & Security International is a London-based international human rights organisation that promotes respect for human rights and while ending racism, Islamophobia and other discrimination in the national security context.
As RSI’s Development Officer, you will lead our work on diversifying and strengthening our income streams. You will support our human rights mission by researching and cultivating new funding opportunities with trusts and foundations across the UK and internationally, develop our new supporter engagement and individual giving strategy and programme, and research and develop potential new income streams. You will be responsible for helping create and maintain relationships with funders, drafting grant applications and budgets, and helping fulfil RSI’s grant reporting obligations. You will also have a real impact on our work and strategy by collaborating closely with programme staff on developing our projects and evaluating their impact on people, communities and rights.

This position currently reports to the Executive Director.
The role will entail two days of work per week, with the potential for an increase to three days per week (depending on available resources and other factors).
